Thanks to the Almighty, the Lord of heavens and earth for the gift of life. It gives me great pleasure and privilege to express my deep-seated appreciation of God’s blessings through the University of Nairobi SDA Church Family as part of the large University of Nairobi fraternity. Having joined the group in 2003 during my MBA studies, I have witnessed a prolific growth of the group both in number and spirituality of members to the point of being organized as a full church- The University of Nairobi SDA Church. I want to that the University Administration for its policy on freedom of worship with support in areas such as worship venues and other logistical support during the group’s activities. As a member of staff in the university and as one of the patrons of the church, I would like to say that making a decision to be worship God and be associated with the UoN SDA group has had an immense positive impact in my life as an individual. I want to take this opportunity to welcome all (both students and staff) from all walks of life to interact with the group to share God’s abundant blessings, more so the gift of spreading the gospel to bring many to the fold of salvation. I want to believe that the University Management will continue to provide the necessary support towards this noble calling, hence contributing towards producing holistic graduates, which is one of the university’s key objectives.
