The University of Nairobi will hold its 69th graduation ceremony on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Graduation Square. The ceremony will be divided into two sessions, the first from 7:30 am to 10:30 am and the second from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
The ceremony will feature the traditional procession of graduates, the donning of the cap for PhD graduates by the Chancellor, and the reading of the names of all graduates. It will also be an opportunity for graduates to celebrate with their colleagues, friends, and family.
To participate in the graduation, a mandatory convocation fee of 1,000 Kenyan shillings is required. In addition, graduates who wish to attend the ceremony in person must pay a fee of 2,500 Kenyan shillings and rent a graduation gown for 4,000 Kenyan shillings.
