The Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, University of Nairobi is working on a collaboration with International Business Academy, IBA, Denmark. In the collaboration, students and staff are bound to benefit from the exchange programs.

 

This was the key point of discussion as Soren Bladt, from IBA Learning Lab, Region of Southern Denmark discussed with staff and student leaders.

Already, some two members of the academia have travelled to Demark on some 5 days tour of the universities. Students will be travelling in in the next four months for some five months semester study in Denmark.  

Some of the courses the students will be studying during the semester include :   ICT, Multimedia, Sales and Marketing, Digital Media among others.  

Soren revealed that with Erasmus+ sponsorship, as IBA, they have received additional grants to support African universities. “I am here to discuss opportunities to develop partnerships and exchange programs. We have opportunities for travel and funding,” he revealed.

Prof. Stephen Odock and Prof. Mercy Munjuri explained the various programs under their departments. The programs being; operations management, procurement and supply chain, management Information systems, project planning and management, Marketing, human resource, insurance, entrepreneurship and innovations management,

Dr. Duncan Elly revealed that courtesy of the partnership with IBA, several faculty members have visited Denmark and soon, ten students will be visiting Denmark on exchange programs.
