Congratulations to the graduating class of December 2021.
The University of Nairobi hosted the 66th graduation ceremony on Friday 17th December 2021. During the event, about 6,467 graduands were honored with various Degrees and Diplomas. Click to watch the Graduation ceremony
The Faculty of Built Environment and Design produced 1,841 graduands: Graduation List
Diploma Awards: 556
Bachelor Degree Awards: 697
Master Degree Awards: 562
Doctor of Philosophy Degree Awards: 19
Overall the Faculty has produced about 2,323 graduands in 2021; 482 candidates graduated in the September 2021 graduation ceremony.
The Dean, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences; Prof. Jackson Maalu, recorded his congratulatory message to the students saying, “ I would like to congratulate all the graduands, from the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences at all levels right from Doctorate to Diploma level, I would like to wish them well as they go out to serve this nation in their various capacities. ”
The Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi in her address to graduands urged them to remain hopeful “I beseech our graduands of the day not to lose hope. It is the one thing that can help you get though the darkest of times...Graduands, I wish you well, I believe in you” The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama also sent his congratulatory message to the graduands urging them “to remain connected to the University of Nairobi and continue to espouse the values of the university wherever you go” The theme for this year’s celebration was upholding academic excellence and resilience through technology amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
