First Years from the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, University of Nairobi had a wonderful time touring the library and enjoying facilities that the library has to offer.

Among the services, they are set to enjoy is over 2,000,000 online books from various digital libraries that the University of Nairobi has subscribed to. In order to boost its research endeavours, the University of Nairobi has subscribed to online books, journals and research articles from authenticated databases. “They are scholarly articles to enable you pursue your studies comfortably, “ said Josephine Kangethe, the Librarian.

“Please, don’t ever try use Google in your scholarly search for knowledge. It is criminal to do so. Run to the Library immediately and be guided. We have the academic resources you should use in pursuit of knowledge”, she said.

Students are also to set to enjoy reading the digital version of the two leading newspapers, being Daily Nation and The Standard.

In order to access the library, the students will be required to use their Active Directory Accounts. Those having issues with their AD passwords were advised by ICT Chief, Laban Ndegwa to get in touch with the ICT Office, through email: ictsupportlkc@uonbi.ac.ke
