The Faculty of Business and Management Sciences hosted Prof. Thomas Strothotte the president of Kuehne Logistics University (KLU) in Hamburg, Germany who is on familiarization tour of the University of Nairobi which recently won a DAAD grant to host two programs, Master in Sustainable Operations Management and Master of Business Research. The two programs will be jointly hosted by three universities Kuehne Logistics University, University of Dar Es Salaam and the University of Nairobi.

During his visit, Prof. Strothotte paid a courtesy call on the University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor; Prof. Stephen Kiama (Read More) and addressed undergraduate students at the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences on the importance of being global and the key roles logistics and supply chains play in the growth of the economy.

Also present during the tour were; Dr. Lester Shawa, Regional Education coordinator for Kuehne Foundation, Prof. Jackson Maalu, Dean, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences and Prof. XN Iraki who will be coordinating the new project.
