Speaking during the event, Mr. Hillary Kigen, from Jolemac Fire Protection Limited observed that fire is a combination of fuel , heat and oxygen that produces combustion  and eliminating oxygen is the only way to extinguish fire and the principle behind which all fire extinguishers work.

He explained that fire can be caused by overloading electrical appliances, smoking, gas leakage, candle lights, children playing with matchboxes and oil spillage among other causes.

Students were also urged to be entrepreneurs, create business and delve into self-employment. UBA bank representative stated that at part of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, they have sponsored many entrepreneurs with up to 374 Million Shillings.
