Graduation Day is one of the major events in an academic year. The University hosted the 67th Graduation ceremony for the academic year 2021/22 on Friday, 23rd September 2022 at Taifa Hall, Main Campus. During the auspicious event, a total of 3553 Graduands were conferred degrees and diplomas and one Honoris Causa. A total of 85 Ph.D. 595 Masters degrees, 2508 Bachelors degrees, 62 Post Graduate Diplomas, and 302 Diplomas were conferred to the well-deserving graduands for their accomplishments. One honoris causa degree was awarded to Prof. Patrick Verkooijen, Chief Executive Officer at Global Centre for Adaptation. Prof. Patrick is a renowned scholar and distinguished climate change and Adaptation expert.
Of the 3,553 graduands, a total 533 graduands were from the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences. This year, The Faculty conferred 16 Ph.D degrees, Masters 153, Bachelors 133, and awarded 220 Diplomas.
