Copenhagen Business School Delegation Visits FOBMS to Strengthen Global Partnership

The Faculty of Business and Management Sciences (FOBMS), University of Nairobi, recently had the honour of hosting a delegation from Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Denmark as part of the ongoing collaboration under the Danida-funded Knowledge and Innovation Programme – Africa, Business and Society (KIP-ABS).

The Faculty of Business and Management Sciences has initiated a major curriculum review to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry demands. The move follows a three-day intensive curriculum transformation workshop held from February 11–13, 2026, at the Wangari Maathai Institute, organized in partnership with the Qatar University and funded by Qatar Fund for Development.

On 5 February 2026, the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences celebrated the pioneer cohort of its intensive Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Certification programme at a special luncheon. The modest event formally launched this new professional pathway and commissioned its first qualified practitioners. This short course is part of the Executive Development Education programs.
