Held at the University of Nairobi School of Business, the summit was graced by the Office of the Dean and attended by students from the University of Nairobi’s Chiromo Campus, the Cooperative University of Kenya, and the College of Insurance.

The event explored the theme, “Repositioning Insurance in a Digitally Driven Industry,” through inspiring speeches and thought-provoking panel discussions that highlighted how technology continues to redefine risk, innovation, and opportunity across the sector.

This was the rallying call at the Project Management Institute Youth Forum held at the Manu Chandaria Auditorium on October 4, 2025.

Maureen Ochang', President PMI Kenyan Chapter  noted that mentorship is very good as it provides guidance to the mentees. “Goal is give you clarity, confidence, competence,” he said.  

This was the first graduation under the University’s newly inaugurated Council, marking the start of a new era of governance and transformation.

Presided over by Chancellor Prof. Patrick V. Verkooijen,  Dr. Beatrice Inyangala, Principal Secretary, State Department for Higher Education, Council Chair Prof. Chacha Nyaigotti-Chacha,  Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jesang Hutchinson, members of the Senate, faculty, alumni, partners, proud parents, and families from across Kenya and beyond.
