Library Orientation for First Years, Faculty of Business.  

 

The library orientation for first years was lead by Josephine Mwicigi, Librarian, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences. Students were told of the library operating hours being from 8-10 PM daily and on Weekend  from 8-5 PM

The mission of the library is to provide quality information services. Empower the university to carry out its core mandate of teaching, learning, research and community service.  

First Years Orientation led by Dean, FOBMS.

Speaking during the orientation program, Prof. James Njihia, Dean, Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, observed that the Faculty has 80 Full time lecturers and 20 Part-time lecturers ready to serve the students.  He also cautioned them about making the wrong choices, as “Choices have consequences”, he said. “Focus. Get your degree.  Avoid alcohol and drug abuse as they will derail your academic progress,” he observed.

Congratulations to the Graduating Class of September 2023

On Friday, September 22, 2023, the Faculty of Business and Management at the University of Nairobi celebrated a momentous occasion: the graduation of its 532 students. This diverse and accomplished group represented a wide range of academic disciplines and backgrounds, and their achievements were a testament to the faculty's commitment to excellence in education. Among the graduates were 19 Ph.D. recipients in Business Administration, 3 Ph.D. recipients in Project Planning and Management, 133 Master's degree recipients, 214 Bachelor's degree recipients, and 160 Diploma recipients.
