Speaking during the event, Prof. Margaret Hutchingsons, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Innovation and Enterprise, observed that the Faculty is doing well, but more efforts needs to be placed to maintream the research agenda even as they balance on the teaching workload. 

Both teams fought hard to score against each other, but eventually, the University of Nairobi football team emerged winners. 

The match ended in a goal-less draw and was forced into penalties. After the shootout, the results were 5-4 in favour of the University of Nairobi football team. Strathmore University football team had to walk with their heads bowed down. Despite fighting so hard and being the favourtie in the first half of the game, they surrendered to the mighty giants, the University of Nairobi football team. 

In a spectacular display of academic prowess, the Faculty of Business and Management Science stole the limelight at the UoN 70th graduation ceremony held on Friday, December 15, 2023. The faculty celebrated the highest number of graduates, an impressive 1708 out of the total 5744 graduands, marking a significant milestone in the institution's commitment to producing resilient and highly skilled professionals. Among the 1708 graduates, 17 proudly donned the mantle of Doctor of Philosophy.
