In 2020, the Government of Kenya committed to implementing various nationwide projects through Ministries, Department, and Agencies (MDA) to promote national values and principles of governance. The University of Nairobi is one of the state agents heavily involved in the implementation of these projects and has held various activities to fulfill the set commitments.

University of Nairobi Celebrates Talent Day.

Speaking during the event, University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama, urged students to leave a mark while studying at the university. “Please ensure you leave a mark behind. University of Nairobi is the home of talents. We have recently seen Ferdinand Omanyala fly the University flag high, not just nationally but at the global stage. We have many alumni, some of them Nobel Laureates like Prof. Wangari Maathai”, he said. The Vice Chancellor urged students to leave a mark in sports, academics, research and various extracurricular activities.
